Green Apple Pull Apart Bread {Using Rhodes Frozen Bread}
Green Apple Pull Apart Bread c hipped pieces of apple between layers of slightly sweet cinnamon dough. Fun to make and worth all the effort. By now, I think almost everyone knows about Pull Apart Bread on Pinterest. Simple Plum Clafoutis
Plum Clafoutis is a dessert that can be elegant or rustic, depending on how it is baked. I decided to go the rustic route and bake mine in a cast iron skillet. The recipe is easy---really showcasing the plums in taste and beauty. Simple can be gorgeous! Simple Baked Plum Custard The joy of this simple custard is that it is often served at room temperature and dusted with powdered sugar. Although plums are a crowd pleaser in this French dessert, cherries are traditional. Arranging the plums on top of the custard is elegant perfection in itself, but mine seemed to move when I poured the custard over them. Oh well, I did say I went the rustic route, didn't I?

Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pie Bars
Brown Sugar Pumpkin Pie Bars are an elegant pumpkin pie in a simple dessert bar. They're an excellent way to serve dessert at family gatherings, bridal showers, and even tailgate entertaining. SUPER EASY PUMPKIN PIE BARS We like rich, creamy, sweet Pumpkin Pie , which is just what these pumpkin pie bars are. I dressed up a traditional pumpkin pie recipe by adding nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, and brown sugar instead of regular sugar. I am a little anxious for fall to arrive, so I will start with a pumpkin recipe. Pumpkin is synonymous with fall, so much so that we embrace the humble gourd in the squash family as a superfood, low in calories and high in fiber. That works for me because I love pumpkin anything!

Chunky Chocolate Chip Double Doozies
Chunky Chocolate Chip Double Doozies , fluffy frosting sandwiched between two giant soft and chewy, chunky chocolate chip cookies, a copycat of the beloved cookie found at the cookie store in your local mall. CHUNKY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE SANDWICH This recipe is a copycat recipe of doozies from The Great American Cookie Company. Who can resist two chunky chocolate chip cookies sandwiched between a fluffy marshmallow buttercream? We love the cookies at the cookie store in the mall, and the aroma is so inviting we can't resist sometimes, but they can be pretty pricey. I just keep thinking I can make these, so I set out to create an easy recipe. My description of easy is using refrigerator cookie dough, but the frosting has to be homemade. Nothing else will do...trust me. After scrolling through the web, I came up with an easy homemade recipe for the frosting. It is similar to the buttercream frosting I use to frost cakes and ...

Old Fashioned Chocolate Meringue Pie {Granny's Recipe}
Old-fashioned chocolate meringue pie is creamy, rich chocolate filling adorned with fluffy meringue in a flakey pie crust, just like grandma makes. GRANNY'S CHOCOLATE MERINGUE PIE There are pies, and then there are Granny's pies. My family has always been a pie fan, and growing up, this chocolate meringue pie was a favorite. Christmas desserts always included my Mother's Chocolate Meringue Pie growing up in the '60s. She made the best. Always made from scratch, a reminiscence of an old fashioned southern cook. We couldn't decide which one to cut first, her Coconut Meringue or Chocolate Meringue, so we would have a little of both. Devine... Don't wait for special occasions to make this pie. Rich, delicious chocolate pie is the perfect dessert anytime. I hope you get to make it real soon. Enjoy!
