Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast is simple to prepare and has as much flavor as a whole turkey.  Start with a bone in, skin on, and use the same seasonings, but the secret to the juiciest meat is the brining. Crockpot Turkey Breast This Crockpot Turkey Breast recipe is an excellent addition to serve extra white meat for your Thanksgiving meal, which my family loves.  We always run out of white meat, but not anymore. My recipe for Crockpot Turkey Breast is straightforward, with only 3 ingredients, turkey, poultry seasoning, and butter, that's it.  It turns out moist and flavorful every time.   Whether cooking a whole turkey or a turkey breast, the leftovers are always my favorite.   I love making turkey sliders, sandwiches, turkey soup, and my new recipe with this year's leftovers, Turkey Bubble Up.

Simple Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

Simple Broccoli Cauliflower Salad will elevate a meal for Kings or refresh a family potluck dinner.  The perfect salad with only six ingredients, including the creamy, tangy dressing. Broccoli Cauliflower Salad with Creamy Dressing My recipe for delicious Broccoli Cauliflower Salad is simple and quick to make, full of fresh broccoli and cauliflower florets, julienne red onions, and tossed in a dressing you want to drink.   Growing up, anytime we had a big gathering, Mother would cook the biggest meal, and the whole family would come.   Recipes like this classic Broccoli Cauliflower Salad totally remind me of those days the love and care my Mother took in hosting all the family and celebrating us. Just like Mother, I keep this salad as simple as possible.  My family loves this salad year-round, especially around the holidays.   This brings up Thanksgiving around the corner, always a favorite.   I know this salad will become one of yours, too.

Baked Feta Pasta Recipe

Baked Feta Pasta became a TicTok sensation last year, becoming the most instantaneous recipe made with four simple ingredients.  Baked Feta and Ricotta Pasta with Chicken Like many pasta recipes, adding chicken will indeed please and become a family favorite for weeknight meals. Creamy, flavorful, and cheese, all the components you want in a pasta dish. Baked Feta Pasta is the perfect fall comfort food, creamy, tomato–y and so incredibly delicious.  It is probably the most straightforward pasta dish I have ever made. When I say simple, everything gets baked together until the tomatoes burst, releasing all their jamminess.  The cheeses get melty, and you stir it all together, making this quick creamy sauce, toss in the chicken and then the pasta.  Generously garnish with more basil.  Boom, dinner is ready.

Sesame Ginger Bone In Pork Chops

Juicy tender pork chops marinated with a sesame ginger vinaigrette and baked in the oven to perfection. 2-Ingredient Baked Sesame Ginger Pork Chops  A brief time in the refrigerator gives the bone in thick pork chops loads of flavor while tenderizing the meat.  Even if you don't have time for the pork chops to hang out in the marinate, skip the marinating and pour the sesame ginger vinaigrette over them just before you bake them in the oven. Still delicious. I like to cook thick cut porterhouse pork chops with the bone in them because there is so much more flavor.   Other cuts of pork chops will work, like boneless pork chops, sirloin pork chops, and thin cut pork chops, sometimes called rib pork chops.     There is no need to complicate dinner when you can make this simple meal that everyone will enjoy.  You will only need two ingredients,  Maria's Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette and pork chops. Once they go in the oven, you can have a wholesome meal on the table in less than 45 min

Buttery Lobster Tails

Buttery lobster tails served with garlic butter sauce will wow any dinner guest for any special occasion, especially Valentine's.  Incredibly Easy Lobster Tails When you think of lobster tails,  a pricy restaurant meal you could never cook at home comes to mind.  I used to be intimidated and feel the same way until I watched my son-in-law make them at home.   What a fun meal we had, you will want to start making them for special occasions. My son-in-law, Ben, and I love to cook together.  On most holidays and a weekend of trying new recipes,  we will get in the kitchen and cook together.   For Christmas, it is our  Standing Rib Roast , Easter is our  Whole Bone In Ham , and a tailgate appetizer is  Grilled Whole Jalapeno Poppers . For this recipe, I have included two methods of preparation with tips and tidbits, how to broil lobster tails and how to bake lobster tails.

Jumbo Banana Carrot Muffins

Banana Carrot Muffins are a cross between banana bread and carrot cake, all the cozy ingredients that make this breakfast treats so delightful. Banana Carrot Muffins The recipe for these banana carrot muffins is packed with a full cup of bananas and 2 cups of shredded carrots, enhanced with brown sugar and a tiny bit of cinnamon and cardamom, yielding a light, fluffy and moist muffin. I love muffins of any kind for grabbing a quick snack on the go, and when they have healthy ingredients, it is a bonus.   We have been enjoying these Banana Carrot Muffins for breakfast each morning since I made them.  With the weather getting cooler, I think they would be a warm cozy accompaniment to a cup of tea in the afternoon. These Banana Carrot Muffins are delicious out of the oven or reheated after freezing.

Smoked Salmon Roll Appetizer

Smoked Salmon Roll Appetizer sounds fancy, you might say.  Well, they are, yet they are straightforward to make. Do not be intimidated. Give them a try! Smoked Salmon Pinwheels  Make this elegant appetizer at your next gathering.   All you need is a few ingredients rolled into one fantastic bite, presliced smoked salmon, cream cheese, wasabi paste, cucumber, and avocado match sticks.    Be sure and make a double batch for your guest. They will go fast.   These Smoked Salmon Pinwheels are the perfect make-ahead appetizer, even a day ahead.  Keep them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.  There are so many variations you can make.   I think adding dill sprigs, pepper flakes, red onions, and what about capers?  Just go with it.  Make it your recipe for the occasion. I love recipes like this.  The add-ons are endless.   The whole recipe is leisurely.   I hope you will try making these Smoked Salmon Pinwheels for your next gathering.

Air Fryer Fried Green Tomatoes

These air fryer green tomatoes deliver a crunchy outside with a smooth succulent inside.  The perfect summer food you will ever devour.   Fried Green Tomatoes The air fryer is the perfect way to cook fried green tomatoes.  I like to call them healthified fried green tomatoes.  To finish them off, you can sprinkle a generous drop of coarse salt, salty capers, or a few drops of hot sauce. To make air fryer green tomatoes, start with medium size unripe tomatoes.   I like to use light green tomatoes that are pale green and have a little pink coming through the skin.  They are not quite so sour.   Don't make the mistake of choosing green heirloom tomatoes.  Green heirloom tomatoes are fully ripe tomatoes, a different variety of tomatoes. I love combining self rising cornmeal and panko for the coating, and of course, don't forget to double dip to get the most delicious, crunchy outside, divine.

Crisp Blistered Okra Recipe

Crisp Blistered Okra Recipe is a simple and fast okra dish that is crunchy, flavorful, and not at all slimy.  Some like it better than fried. There is nothing like fresh okra in the summertime.  I love okra any way you can cook it, but blistered okra could become my favorite way to eat it. This okra is super easy to make and takes very little prep work.  What keeps the okra crisp and does not release its juices which can be gummy, is to not add any water (liquid) when cooking the okra.   Another tip is to heat the avocado oil, firing hot but not burning, and then add the okra.  This renders the crisp outside to the okra and a tender inside.  This is also how I cook mushrooms, which makes a great compliment to the okra.   Once the okra is cooked, stop stirring it.  Continuing to stir the okra will change the texture of the okra, which is why it is best to cook the okra just before serving. The seasoning is straightforward, salt and pepper with a pinch of red pepper flakes.  Montreal ste

Lite and Fresh Chicken Piccata

Lite and Fresh Chicken Piccata, crispy pan seared thin chicken breast with a nutty lemon brown butter caper sauce are exceptional.  The ease of making this popular dish using light ingredients doesn't in any way take away from delivering a rich flavor.    I can never pass up Chicken Piccata.  The fresh lemon and brinny cappers make these thin chicken breasts sing in chorus.

Spring Asparagus Salad with Tangy Avocado Lemon Vinaigrette

Spring Asparagus Salad with Tangy Avocado Lemon Vinaigrette is a spring salad that comes together quickly with fresh taste with fresh vegetables and zing in the vinaigrette, which makes someone think it is perfect for a side dish.    Spring is on its way!  And I am getting ready with my Asparagus Salad with Tangy Avocado Lemon Vinaigrette.  It is beautiful, fresh, healthy, and so vibrant. My spring salad is made with simple, fresh ingredients, asparagus, cucumbers, and chili peppers.  The salad is drizzled with an amazing avocado lemon vinaigrette.  The dressing only takes minutes to make and adds so much freshness.

Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes

Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes are the perfect side dish for any meal, but for a holiday meal, you might say they are superb in every way.  Starting with, they can be made ahead and then refrigerated until time for your holiday meal. These Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes are rich, velvety smooth, and so decadent.  Let me just say, my family loves my mashed potatoes, but when I make these, I raise the bar.      Honestly, they are so decadent, so rich, so buttery, that I reserve these for special occasions and holidays. For our Christmas dinner, while the  Prime Rib Roast  is resting under a foil tent, the ideal time to put the Magic Green Beans  and the Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes in the oven is now. This will benefit  everything coming together at the right time.

Standing Rib Roast

Standing Rib Roast is succulent, exceptionally flavorful, and looks stunningly elegant on the holiday table.  This prime cut of meat can be intimidating to cook but rest assured, it is effortless. For our Christmas dinner, we have enjoyed Standing Rib Roast, also known as prime rib roast, for several years now, and this last year I decided to try my hand at making Popovers to go with our meal.  They turned out fabulous, perfect addition, so I think I will try the Yorkshire Pudding this year. We decided to keep the sides simple too.  We served  Creamy Baked Mashed Potatoes and my Magic Green Beans . Simple is always best.

Fabulous Watermelon Juice Recipe

Fabulous fresh Watermelon Juice, naturally sweet, refreshing chunks of watermelon that yield a superb juice, perfect on a hot summer day.    The ingredients are simple, only one, watermelon.   Spice it up with a rub of a cut side of lime on the rim of the glass and dip in the spicy Tajin, tasty. Watermelon juice is a juice I have expectations making each summer.  After spending time in Mexico on a mission trip, watermelon juice became a favorite.  I remember it was the first thing I thought about on my way to eating breakfast.   I remember most that the watermelon juice was served at room temperature, and it didn't bother me at all.  The vibrant flavor of the watermelon was delightful.

Turnip Hash Browns

Turnip Hash Browns are an excellent low carb side dish and the perfect substitute for potatoes.  Make them in an air fryer or roast them in the oven, seriously delicious, not to mention keto friendly. Turnip Hash Browns are a yummy addition to any meal, not just breakfast.  I have always enjoyed turnips cooked with turnip greens, but I have played around with roasting them in the oven and cooking them in the air fryer for an alternative to potatoes in recent years.   I like to peel them and cut them up in small cubes versus shredding them.  I keep it simple and toss them in a little drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil and sprinkle your favorite seasonings on them.  If you would like to cook them in the air fryer, just spray a little avocado oil on them with your favorite seasonings.

Caprese Salad Skewers

Caprese Salad Skewers, a simple Caprese salad on a stick, easy to make and, fancy to look at.  The perfect little appetizer to wow your guest any time of the year. With warm weather and the peak of the tomato season coming, I wanted to share one of my favorite appetizers and an afternoon snack, Mini Caprese Salad Skewers.  The best part about this recipe is it only calls for four ingredients, fresh, light, and delightful. Fresh grape tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls, fresh basil, stacked on mini skewers, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze makes for the perfect bite, heaven on a stick.

Roast Bone In Chicken Breast with Fennel

Roast Bone In Chicken Breast with Fennel, an elegant dish, and delicious with complex flavors.  But don't let that keep you from devouring this perfect entree.   Fennel is a wonderfully delicious vegetable when cooked to full tenderness like bone in chicken breast take, which takes longer to cook than boneless chicken breast. My idea that the fennel would lend flavor to the chicken ad the chicken would flavor the fennel nicely was beyond my expectations.  The results were remarkable.

Whole Roasted Cauliflower

Whole Roasted Cauliflower,  a delicious side dish that is meaty and filling enough it could hold center stage as a meatless main dish. Cauliflower has become one of our favorite vegetables.  I have always broken the cauliflower into flowerets and roasted them with a little olive oil and seasonings.  After seeing several recipes come across Instagram, I was so intrigued by roasting a whole cauliflower I had to give it try. The key to getting a tender succulent return on roasting a whole cauliflower is to cook it in butter with fragrant spices and herbs before roasting.  This will cut down on the roasting time and lends a beautiful sauce to serve over the cauliflower cut into glorious steaks.

How To Make Southern Smothered Boneless Pork Chops Hearty And Delicious

Southern Smothered Boneless Pork Chops,   succulent boneless pork chops made from scratch ingredients with no canned soups or milk.  A classic southern comfort dish that is hearty and creamy rich in flavor with a heavy dose of amazing seasonings.   Have you ever heard that pork is the other white meat?  Several years ago that was an advertising slogan for pork.  The goal was to increase consumer demand for pork and dispel its reputation as a fatty meat.   When I grew up, I remember ham and pork chops were the favorite pork selections and being high in calories.  But in the last years, pork dish has evolved.    From pork roast made into pull pork to pork tenderloin marinaded, considered the leanest and most expensive piece of pork to buy.  For the recipe, I used boneless pork chops which are basically top loin or rib chops with ribs removed.  They are lean, very little connective tissue, no fat. While the boneless pork chops have fewer calories, the absence of the b

How To Make The Best Oven Rotisserie Chicken Breast

Oven Rotisserie Chicken Breast,  succulent tender chicken breast that stands on its own or in any dish that calls for cooked chicken and better than store bought.     Rotisserie Chicken is one of my all time favorite meats to eat.  On a buffet, I will pick the rotisserie chicken first.  It is hard to beat the taste of rotisserie chicken that it is cooked until it is so tender and falls off the bone.   The chicken thigh is my favorite piece to eat, but on the eating plan that I am on, I can only have skinless, boneless chicken breast, so I decided to create a juicy, tender skinless, boneless chicken breast version.
