If you are looking for an easy and quick Easter candy treat this year, you will want to try White Trash Candy Recipe I make to celebrate each holiday.

White Trash Recipe

The white trash recipe is sometimes called White Chocolate Trail Mix.  It literally takes minutes to make using the microwave to melt the chocolate and then pour over the three other ingredients....so good.

The basic recipe for the trash is the same each time.

I just change the color of the M&Ms for what holiday we are celebrating.

I use cute pink, yellow, blue, and purple M&Ms for Easter.

What child doesn't love to get M&Ms in their Easter basket!

You can't believe how this stuff is so delicious and highly addictive. I try to give away as much of it as possible to remedy that.

I found these cute little Easter bags at Hobby Lobby this year, and they were perfect for giving them away in.

The grandchildren especially loved them!

Easter White Trash
{CookingwithK.net}
  • 24 oz. vanilla flavored candy coating (almond bark)
  • 6 cups Kellogg Crispix cereal
  • 3 cups round or square shaped pretzels
  • 16 oz. M&M's Peanut Butter Chocolate Candies, Peanut Chocolate Candies, or Plain Chocolate Candies in Easter Colors
In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate in the microwave for 2-4 minutes at 30 SECOND intervals until chocolate is melted; set aside.

In a large bowl, add cereal, pretzels, and M & Ms. Pour melted chocolate over the cereal mixture.

Using a large spatula to fold altogether, ensure not to break up the cereal too much.

Once all the mixture is coated really well with the chocolate, pour it out onto a table lined with waxed paper.

Once cooled, break up into pieces and store in an airtight container.
