Patriotic White Trash

Patriotic White Trash, a snack mix with Crispix cereal, pretzels, red, white, and blue peanut M&Ms, and generously coated with almond bark.  Keeping it simple and looking rich!

If you are looking for the p-e-r-f-e-c-t addicting snack mix, you have come to the right place.  Ha! Ha!

My family can not, and I mean can not, stop eating this stuff.  It is sweet, salty, and crunchy at the same time.  Did I say perfectly addicting?

All the elements you want in a yummy snack.

Let's talk a little bit about how easy and quick it is to make.  It takes only 4 ingredients and only takes 15 minutes to make.

I always make my trash mix with Crispix cereal.  Many people use Rice Chex cereal or Corn Chex cereal, but if you don't know, Crispix cereal has rice on one side and corn on the other.  The combination of rice and corn gives a terrific flavor combo in the trash mix.

To make it go faster, I have the Crispix cereal, pretzels, and M&Ms in a bowl ready for the melted almond bark.  When evenly coated, I pour it on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
