If you are looking for an easy and quick Easter candy treat this year, you will want to try White Trash Candy Recipe I make to celebrate each holiday.
White Trash Recipe
The white trash recipe is sometimes called White Chocolate Trail Mix. It literally takes minutes to make, using the microwave to melt the chocolate and then pouring it over the three other ingredients... so good.
The basic recipe for the trash is the same each time.
I just change the color of the M&Ms for the holiday we are celebrating.
I use cute pink, yellow, blue, and purple M&Ms for Easter.
What child doesn't love to get M&Ms in their Easter basket!
You can't believe how delicious and highly addictive this stuff is. I try to give away as much of it as possible to remedy that.
I found these cute little Easter bags at Hobby Lobby this year, and they were perfect for giving them away.

TIPS AND TIDBITS FOR THE BEST EASTER TRASH
Crispix. Crispix has the best of both cereals for this recipe. One side is rice, and the other side is corn. Another plus is that it is gluten-free for anyone who is gluten-intolerant.
White chocolate almond bark. Melt it slowly in short intervals (30 seconds) in the microwave, stirring between each to prevent burning, then immediately mix thoroughly with your cereal (Crispix) and pretzels.
Coat evenly. Gently fold the melted bark into the dry mix until everything is coated.
Spread Thin. Pour onto wax or parchment paper in an even, single layer.
Cool Completely. Let it sit at room temperature (about 30 minutes) or chill briefly for faster results.
Break Apart. Once fully hardened, break into bite-sized pieces.
Package. Store in an airtight container or festive tin can until ready to bag in gift bags.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE EASTER WHITE TRASH
Vanilla flavored candy coating (almond bark)
Kellogg's Crispix cereal
Square-shaped pretzels
M&Ms in Easter colors (plain, peanut, or peanut butter)
HOW TO PREPARE EASTER WHITE TRASH
In a microwave wave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in the microwave for 2-4 minutes at 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add cereal, pretzels, and M&Ms. Pour melted chocolate over the cereal mixture.
Using a large spatula, fold everything together, ensuring you don't break up the cereal too much.
Once the mixture is fully coated with chocolate, pour it out onto a table lined with waxed paper.
Once cooled, break up into pieces and store in an airtight container.
