Homemade Peach Ice Cream is truly a favorite request around our house in the summer time.
My daughter Jennifer makes a regular trip to Pittsburg, Texas each year around her birthday in June to Efurd Orchards to get fresh peaches.
I created this recipe from her Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream recipe. The recipe will make enough ice cream for a 6-quart ice cream freezer.
Even though we make this recipe several times in the summer, this recipe is good to make anytime of the year!
Homemade Peach Ice Cream
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cans eagle brand milk
2 cans evaporated milk
2 tablespoons vanilla
1/2 cups fresh peaches pureed
