As a tradition, every year around my daughter's birthday, we try to go to our favorite Peach Orchard! This year we actually got to go on her birthday, which was sweet. There are so many fresh vegetables and fruits, you cannot leave without something. Who remembers the roadside produce stands that were popular in the '50s and '60s? This is as close to one as you can get these days. We loaded up with fresh peaches, wild red plums, cantaloupes, Fresh Lady Cream Peas , and their famous fresh peach soft serve ice cream. Yum!
