Classic Chocolate Peanut Clusters {Granny's Recipe}

Chocolate Peanut Clusters were a classic Christmas treat around my house when I was growing up.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT CLUSTERS

With just two simple ingredients, you can create these delightful treats that are sure to impress everyone during the holiday season.

The delicious combination of sweet and salty makes these the perfect treat.

Chocolate Peanut Clusters are unbelievably easy to make, and when you have unexpected company, they are just what you want to make to wow your guests.

I must say that they are a great addition to my Christmas gift boxes this year, too.

Instead of using a scoop, I dropped the clusters into a mini muffin pan lined with mini muffin papers. I decided to use a scoop and drop spoonfuls of the clusters on waxed paper.

Whether you are making them for gift giving, company coming, or just to have some around the house, you can't go wrong with mixing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE CHOCOLATE PEANUT CLUSTERS

Mini muffin paper liners
Milk chocolate chips (or chocolate bark)
Red skin salted peanuts

HOW TO PREPARE CHOCOLATE PEANUT CLUSTERS

Line a mini muffin tin with mini muffin papers.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in the microwave 2-4 minutes at 30-second intervals. Stir after each interval until the chocolate is creamy and smooth.

Add the peanuts immediately and stir until well mixed. Using a 1-inch scoop, drop mixture into mini muffin papers.

Allow to sit and harden or place in the refrigerator to harden quickly.

Note: Semi-Sweet Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and White Chocolate may also be used.
