Cranberry Raspberry Crumb Bars

. I am so happy to be guest posting for Melissa from Served Up with Love today.  I wish we lived next door to each other so we can share our recipes with a morning cup of coffee like we did at the Southern Food Bloggers Retreat.

Buffalo Chicken Bites

Buffalo Chicken Bites , mixture of chicken, cream cheese, spicy hot sauce, ranch dressing mix, baked between crescent rolls sheets.  They are a cross between a slider and hot sandwich. The best place to enjoy the most scrumptious appetizers, dips, sliders and sweet treats is at a Supper Bowl Party!

Banana Nut Bread {Granny's Recipe}

Banana Nut Bread, a classic straight from my Mother's kitchen, toasted pecans folded in a rich banana quick bread that is moist and perfectly sweet.   Now that my children are grown and married, I am the only one that eats bananas in the house.  I often buy too many bananas, and I can't eat all of them before they start turning brown.

Southern Chocolate Fudge Pie {aka Chocolate Chess Pie}

Southern Chocolate Fudge Pie  is a southern classic for sure.  The pie is the richest, most chocolaty, decadent pie you will ever eat.  Every bite is pure joy! Chocolate Fudge Pie is a classic old fashioned Southern dessert that has been around for years. Some people call this pie a chocolate chess pie.

Peking Pork Chops

Peking Pork Chops  tenderized pork medallions, coated in a Chinese marinade and then deep fried.  But that is not the end, just before serving them dip them in a thick tangy and sweet hoisin sauce mixture. One of the first restaurants my husband likes to go to after the holidays is our local Chinese restaurant.   Peking Pork Chops are the favorite, and now I make them at home.

Buckeye Fudge

Buckeye Fudge  is a creamy peanut butter fudge layer covered with a thick layer of chocolate ganache.  This is the best way I can describe it.  Two amazing fudge flavors stacked on top of each other.    Like Christin says, peanut butter and chocolate, "What's not to love! I have heard of Buckeye Candy before, but I have never made it for some reason.  I  can't imagine why.  I first became aware of the Buckeye Fudge version from Christin over at Spicy Southern Kitchen . As soon as I saw this fudge on her website,  I wanted to make it, and I knew it would be perfect in our  Christmas treat boxes. It is absolutely the best fudge. It is close to becoming my favorite fudge, with my Mother's Millionaire Fudge being my favorite.

Jennifer's Tiger Butter Popcorn + Living Letters for Kids Book 1

Tiger Butter Popcorn is a twist on the popular tiger butter candy you see in all the candy stores in the mall, just as rich and scrumptious.    This summer, we celebrated the birth of our  ninth  grandchild. I am continuing a series of posts with my daughter's favorite food, which we served at her baby shower.

Chocolate Mocha Muffins with Reese's Peanut Butter Chips

I love a cup of coffee in the morning with a chocolate muffin.  They just seem to go together. Coffee with chocolate gives me that extra boost of energy I need to get moving.  I usually eat half of the muffin for breakfast and then finish the rest for a quick afternoon snack.

Inspirational Thoughts #16

My youngest grandson Isaac and Momma and  Daddy playing live nativity at their church Saturday.   Isaac lay in the manger smiling at everyone that came by. It always gives me the greatest joy when I hear that my children are following the way of truth.   I John 3:4 ERV

20+ Christmas Sweet Treats

Giving trays of homemade cookies and candies for gifts is a great way to celebrate the season. People always love getting cookies and boxes of homemade candy right up to Christmas and through to the New Year. Don’t wait to start baking.  With Christmas just around the corner, baking is in full swing at my house. I love this time of the year, and I love putting together Christmas treat boxes and trays.  It is still early enough to do some holiday baking.
