H Bacon Jam Sliders

Hamburger-Bacon Jam Sliders are the perfect sliders for this weekend's Super Bowl Party.

Hamburgers are great, but who can resist a cute little hamburger.  I especially think the smaller size is the way to go with these rich and hearty flavors.  The hamburger part is pretty simple, now the Bacon Jam is not just about putting bacon on a burger.  It is a spread that has the wonderful flavor combination of sweet and savory all at the same time.

Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground hamburger (90/10)
1 lb. mild ground sausage
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
3 tablespoons minced onion
24 tablespoons Bacon Jam
24 rolls (I use Hawaiian rolls)

Directions:
In a large cast iron skillet, brown hamburger and sausage.

Add Velveeta and onions.  Stir until cheese is completely melted.  Set aside.

Split rolls in half.  Add 1-2 tablespoons of meat mixture to bottom half of rolls.

Top meat mixture with 1 tablespoon of bacon jam.  Place top part of roll on bacon jam.

Serve  immediately with hamburger sides, chips, fresh vegetables, or fries.
